Our Mission

The Point Beach Community Association is committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our lakefront neighborhood by fostering connections among residents, maintaining the natural beauty and character of our community, advocating for resident interests, and promoting responsible stewardship of our shared environment along the shores of Green Bay.

What We Are

PBCA is a voluntary, nonprofit community association — not a homeowners association. It imposes no binding rules on any property. Membership is open to all property owners and residents of Point Beach, whether year-round or seasonal.

We are organized as a Wisconsin Nonprofit Corporation and have applied for 501(c)(4) social welfare organization status, which allows us to freely advocate on zoning, planning, and public matters affecting our neighborhood.

Governance

The Association rests on three foundational elements:

Articles of Incorporation

PBCA is organized as a Wisconsin Nonprofit Corporation. The Articles of Incorporation establish the Association's legal existence and purpose. A copy will be posted here once filing is complete.

Bylaws

The Bylaws govern how the Association operates — membership, meetings, voting, and the duties of officers and directors. The current bylaws will be posted here once adopted by the membership.

Board of Directors

The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. Officers and directors will be listed here once elected at the inaugural meeting.

Association Launch — June 2026

The Point Beach Community Association is now formally organized. We have incorporated as a Wisconsin Nonprofit Corporation and are in the process of establishing our board and organizational structure. We look forward to welcoming members from across the neighborhood this summer.

Inaugural Gathering — Coming This Summer

We will be hosting an inaugural neighborhood gathering at a date and location to be announced. All Point Beach residents — year-round and seasonal — are warmly invited. The agenda will include introductions, an overview of the Association's purpose, and open discussion of priorities for our first year. Watch for a mailing with details.

Membership Now Open

Membership in PBCA is voluntary. To join, simply complete the membership form on our Join Us page, or speak with a member of the organizing committee — a shared commitment to the neighborhood we love.

Why Join?

Membership in the Point Beach Community Association is open to all residents and property owners in the Point Beach neighborhood — seasonal and year-round alike. Membership is voluntary. Joining signals that you care about our neighborhood and want to stay connected. The question of annual dues will be taken up by the membership at our summer meeting.

Why Do We Need Funds?

While the dues question will be decided by the membership, the Association anticipates modest expenses in three areas:

• Initial organizational costs — state incorporation and filing fees, and this website
• Outlot maintenance — caring for the shared spaces that belong to all of us
• Social activities — gatherings that bring neighbors together
